The Institute of Professional Learning and Advancement (iPLACE) has pledged to deepen its investment in youth empowerment initiatives as part of activities to mark the 2025 International Youth Day.

In a statement signed by its chief executive officer, Mr. Osita Okoro, and made available to journalists on Monday, it stressed that the future of the country depends on how young people are empowered today.

“At iPLACE, we don’t just teach skills — we help young people unlock their potential to lead, create, and innovate in their communities. Our commitment is not only to educate but to elevate”.

According to him, iPLACE has in the past year trained over 2,000 young professionals through its Future Leaders Program, supported youth-led social projects through the Young Innovators Fellowship, and organised Skill Up Workshops in emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and digital marketing.

Okoro also announced plans to launch a series of international programmes that will connect young changemakers with industry leaders, funding opportunities, and global networks.

He called on government, the private sector, educators, and communities to work together in supporting youth development for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
