Former Abuja Head Of Civil Service Funeral Holds Saturday

Archbishop of Spring of Life Resource Centre, and head of the funeral committee, Jonathan Maji, has said the former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) head of Civil Service funeral has been slated for Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.

Maji gave the details of the event at the a press briefing yesterday in Abuja.

He invited concerned persons and organisations to join in paying their last respects to Mrs. Adayilo, the first indigenous female head of service in FCT.

He said, “Let us all come together and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who made a significant impact on the political landscape of FCT.”

Maji commended the minister of FCT, Bar. Nyesom Wike, and the Federal Capital Territory administration for their support in hosting the services.

Similarly, Hon. Joshua Ishaku, a family member, encouraged the people of FCT to honour Mrs. Adayilo’s memory, highlighting her tireless dedication to gender equality and bridging societal gaps.

Victor Adayilo, the son of the deceased, spoke of his mother’s humanity and love for others, urging them to continue her legacy.
