Accord Party stakeholders yesterday recognised the Chris Imumolen led faction of the party, which according to them, is backed by Court Order of the Federal High Court.
The party stakeholders, who met in Keffi, also suspended the Barr. Maxwell Mgbudem faction.
The stakeholders, in a statement signed by Ambassador Kabiru Hassan, announced the suspension of Mgbudem and his deputy national chairman over alleged anti-party activities.
The stakeholders accused the suspended party members of endorsing APGA candidate Soludo, who they claimed was working for the APC.
The Accord stakeholders further claimed the Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been eyeing their party.
They however cautioned the governor to be wary of the suspended national chairman, urging him to “join an Accord party led by Chris Imumolen to avoid risking litigation that can destroy his ambition.”
