Wife Allegedly Stabs Husband To Death In Katsina

Dan Gaske Mai Masara, a groom who had just celebrated his union, was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, less than a week after their wedding.

The couple exchanged vows on Thursday, November 18, 2025, in a joyful ceremony filled with laughter, prayers, and the promise of a shared future, as described by friends and relatives. Yet, the celebrations turned to tragedy on Sunday afternoon when neighbours reported a shocking incident that left the community stunned.

According to eyewitnesses, the bride allegedly attacked her husband while he slept, inflicting a fatal wound to his neck with a knife. Panic swept through the neighbourhood as the once-happy home became the scene of an unimaginable loss.
