Chairman of the Association of Vegetables and Fruit Sellers at Utako Market in the Federal capital Territory, (FCT), Abuja, Mu’azu Hamza Karwai, has expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
He appreciated the governor for his immense contribution to the development of the state in the education sector, among others.
He said that they were really grateful to the Almighty Allah for making it possible for him to become the state governor. He cited his recent provision of scholarship to about 590 Kano State indigenes to further their education at various institutions of higher learning within the country and abroad as another commendable achievement.
According to him, education is the backbone of any society’s development and for the governor to have taken that decision is worthy of celebration.
In the efforts to combat crime, he hailed the governor for the provision of vehicles and motorcycles for the security agents.
