LEADERSHIP Friday gathered that part of the N3 million ransom the abductors collected from the four victims they held hostage for days was also recovered from them.

The security operation was effectively carried out with the combined forces of the military, police, Amotekun corps, local hunters, and security outfit operating under Eradicate Bandits at the Borders of Rural Ajoni Communities (EBBORAC).

Four persons, including a school principal, two teachers and a nurse, it was gathered, were last week abducted at Irele-Ekiti, in Ajoni Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State, and whisked away to an unknown destination by the gunmen.

Upon the payment of N3 million ransom, three of the abductees were  freed, while one of them  escaped from the kidnappers’ den.
