Nasarawa Amazons’ head coach, Christopher Danjuma, lauded his team’s tenacity following their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Dannaz Ladies. The Amazons clinched the win at the Lafia City Stadium despite what Danjuma described as missed opportunities and injury woes.
“A team that wins away from home, even after losing at home, is not one to be underestimated,” Danjuma told Nasarawa Amazons media. “When you miss chances, anxiety can set in, but the players stayed focused. We lost eight players, yet we are making things work. Matches like this show our progress in the NWFL.”
Nasarawa Amazons are set to face Ahudianynem Queens in their next fixture.
