The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
The APC National Chairman condoled with El-Rufai and his family over the painful loss, describing it as a deeply personal and irreplaceable moment of grief.
“I visited the home of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai to commiserate with him and the entire family on the painful loss of his beloved mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who passed away yesterday,” he said.
He noted that the death of a mother is not only a loss to the immediate family but also to all who understand the invaluable role mothers play in nurturing and shaping lives.
According to him, the late matriarch lived a fulfilled life and left behind a legacy through her children, family, and all those whose lives she touched.
The APC National Chairman prayed for the repose of her soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
He also prayed for strength, patience, and comfort for El-Rufai, the entire family, and loved ones left behind.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” he added.
