Imodoye Writers’ Residency in Ilorin, Kwara State, has opened a call for applications for its seventh cohort session, set to hold from June 1 to July 15, 2026.
Writers with ongoing writing projects or new ones are urged to apply for the opportunity to spend four weeks at the residency to either kickstart, get further, or complete their writing projects.
Selected participants will have access to private workspaces, free accommodation, a substantial amount of foodstuffs and toiletries, a N15,000 weekly allowance for the duration of the four weeks, and access to the facility’s library and archives for their work.
Applicants must submit a brief personal profile, samples of the ongoing creative work they wish to improve or complete during the residency, and two referral letters from reputable Nigerians, preferably accomplished creative writers.
The submission deadline is April 26, 2026.
