Nigerian singers Seyi Vibez and Adekunle Gold are currently at odds following a public disagreement over their musical styles and personal branding.

The tension began on Friday after Seyi Vibez posted a direct verbal attack on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle. The singer expressed his displeasure with Adekunle Gold’s artistry and fashion choices in a post that has since gone viral.

In the post, Seyi Vibez wrote: “Adekunle Gold, you’re wack, and your swag is wack. Old fool!”

The outburst is believed to be a response to a controversial line in Adekunle Gold’s recently released song titled ‘Life Of The Faaji.’ In the track, Gold appeared to make a comparison between his music and Seyi Vibez’s popular hit, ‘Fuji Moto.’

The lyrics in question state: “They love my fuji / This one no be fuji moto.”

Many fans believe the lyric was a subtle swipe at Seyi Vibez’s craft, prompting the aggressive reaction on social media. As of the time of this report, Adekunle Gold has not issued a statement or replied to the comments.
