A Nigerian community health advocate, Great George Otosin, has continued to lead grassroots wellness and humanitarian campaigns across several states through his nonprofit organization, Daily Life Savers International Foundation. https://dailylifesavers.org/

The organization, which was established in 2007, focuses on community outreach programmes centered on health awareness, water, quality education, humanitarian support, and wellness advocacy in underserved areas.

Otosin, who is from Eket in Akwa Ibom State, said his interest in public health intervention developed after the prolonged illness and eventual death of his father in 2006.

According to him, the experience highlighted the healthcare and financial challenges faced by many low-income families in accessing medical support.

Speaking during a recent outreach programme in Uyo, he said the foundation’s activities are designed to encourage preventive healthcare conversations and improve access to health awareness initiatives in local communities.

“We have continued to focus on awareness campaigns, community support, and grassroots engagement because many rural areas still lack adequate access to health information and support systems,” he said.

Over the years, Daily Life Savers International Foundation https://dailylifesavers.org/ has reportedly conducted outreach programmes in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Anambra, and Kogi states.

The organization’s activities include food support initiatives, borehole donation projects, accommodation assistance for vulnerable individuals, public enlightenment campaigns, and empowerment programmes.

The foundation has also participated in outreach activities in parts of Cameroon, according to statements released during some of its programmes.

In addition to its nonprofit activities, the organization operates through Longevity Gold International, a wellness-focused enterprise involved in the distribution of hydration and nutritional support products.

The organization said increasing demand for its services has contributed to operational growth and the establishment of activities in cities including Lagos, Benin, Warri, Osun, and Port Harcourt.

Analysts say the rise of grassroots health-focused organizations reflects wider concerns about healthcare accessibility and preventive health awareness in many communities across Nigeria.

Otosin has also participated in seminars, faith-based engagements, and public awareness programmes connected to social welfare and community development.

He has received recognition from traditional institutions, advocacy organizations, and community groups for humanitarian outreach and grassroots intervention activities.

Experts, however, emphasize that medical and wellness-related claims associated with alternative healthcare practices should be subjected to independent scientific and medical verification in accordance with public health standards.

Stakeholders in the nonprofit sector say sustained impact assessment, institutional partnerships, and transparent documentation remain critical factors in evaluating the long-term effectiveness of community-based health intervention initiatives.https://dailylifesavers.org/
