ALAT, Nigeria’s leading digital banking platform has rolled out a new reward/loyalty feature to give new/existing customers access to discounted deals.

The feature, tagged ‘ALAT Rewards’ offers up to 10% discount for goods and services including restaurants, supermarkets, spas, hotels, laundry, and payment of DSTV subscription and bills like electricity, and airtime recharges via the ALAT platform.

Speaking on the revamped feature, Wema Bank’s chief digital officer, Olusegun Adeniyi, said ALAT Rewards further shows innovativeness and the bank’s continued commitment to deliver value-adding benefits to both existing and new customers.

‘‘ALAT Rewards is a loyalty service for the over 4.2 million customers on our premium ALAT digital banking platform, and for new customers that are coming onboard unto the platform. It is in further demonstration of our unwavering passion to create and offer more opportunities for our customers to get more value when they bank with Wema Bank. ALAT Rewards is a unique feature that offers an opportunity for all existing and new customers to enjoy up to 10% when they pay for services via ALAT app,’’ Adeniyi said.

Olusegun added that ALAT Rewards helps customers to save while they still get the best value for their money, adding that registered merchants who make use of the ALAT platform also increase their transactions volume and income during the feature.

‘‘Specifically, customers old and new can use their ALAT cards, Wema POS or Alat App for payments and transfers to registered partners like Spas, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, DSTV and many more. These service providers are those that have been onboarded and offered services and goods at discounts to all our existing and new customers. So, we encourage all registered merchants/partners on the ALAT platform to make use of the opportunity to increase their transactions volume and income,’’ Olusegun stated further.
