Mustapha, Madaki Withdraw From Adamawa APC Governorship Race, Back Galadima

Comrade Mustapha Salihu and Chief Joel Madaki have withdrawn from the Adamawa State governorship race ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

Mustapha announced his decision to step down from the contest and declared support for Ahmed Tijjani Galadima’s bid for the APC governorship ticket in the state.

According to a statement issued by Ahmed Sajoh, Mustapha has now accepted to contest for the Adamawa Central Senatorial seat on the platform of the APC.

Mustapha expressed appreciation to APC members and the people of Adamawa State for the support, encouragement and solidarity extended to him throughout his governorship aspiration.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to the success of the APC and pledged continued support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
