The warning is contained in a statement by the command’s spokesman, SP Bashir Usman, issued to journalists in Birnin Kebbi yesterday.
According to the statement, the warning came after the police arrested five armed robbery suspects who specialised in “one- chance” operations along highways in the state.
It said the suspects were arrested during coordinated operations conducted in Birnin Kebbi, Kalgo, Jega, Maiyama and Aleiro local government areas of the state by the police.
The suspects were identified as Abubakar Muhammad from Sokoto State, Shehu Ango, Shamsu Daudu, Shuaibu Umar and one female, Aisha Usmanu.
They were said to have conspired and attacked travelers with weapons on the highways and robbed them.
