Hills Business Connections, the business and leadership outreach arm of The Ecclesia Hills Church, has announced the return of its annual flagship conference, Open for Business 5.0, with leading industry experts, entrepreneurs, and marketplace leaders expected to headline the event.
The two-day conference, themed “Crossing the Red Sea,” will be held on May 30 and 31, 2026, and is designed to inspire transformational leadership, innovation, and purpose-driven enterprise across different sectors.
According to the organisers, the conference draws inspiration from the biblical account in Exodus 14, focusing on overcoming uncertainty, navigating transitions, and advancing boldly despite challenges.
“Crossing the Red Sea is about moving beyond fear, limitations, and stagnation into a new season of purpose, impact, and possibility,” the organisers stated. “This gathering will challenge leaders to advance boldly in business, ministry, family life, and nation-building.”
The conference will feature discussions and practical sessions covering business and entrepreneurship, leadership and professional development, family and relationships, ministry and service, nation building, and transformational living.
The first day of the event will take place on Saturday, May 30, at The Wheatbaker Hotel, Lagos, beginning at 8:00 a.m., while the second day will take place on Sunday, May 31, at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Lagos, from 9:00 a.m.
Participation is free, although registration is compulsory. Among the prominent speakers expected at the conference are Okechukwu Enelamah, Chairman and Co-Founder of African Capital Alliance; Kemi Ojenike; and Nosa Igbinedion.
Organisers said the event will also feature worship sessions led by Hills Music, alongside networking engagements aimed at fostering collaboration and strategic partnerships among participants.
Through initiatives such as the Hills Business Hub, Hills Business Connections said it remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs and professionals through mentorship, leadership development, strategic partnerships, and funding opportunities.
The 2026 edition of Open for Business is supported by strategic partners and sponsors including Aruwa Capital, Q21, and Digital Equity Africa.
