Nigerian actress Kate Henshaw has spoken about her relationship with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji, explaining why they are no longer as close as they once were.

Speaking during interviews on the Tea with Tay Podcast and with Chude Jideonwo, Kate Henshaw said there was no major fallout between them, but their friendship gradually became distant over time.

Henshaw said she and Genevieve Nnaji were once very close and often attended events together during Netflix’s early years in Nigeria before they gradually lost contact.

Henshaw admitted she is not really sure what caused the distance between them, suggesting that Genevieve may have developed trust issues. She added that the actress often withdraws from people, leaving friends wondering if they had done something wrong.

Despite the long silence, the pair reunited while filming a Netflix advert in South Africa. Henshaw said Genevieve was warm and friendly during the encounter and made sure to say goodbye before leaving.
