Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has taken to social media to offer financial support to some of his followers, sharing screenshots of credit alerts as proof of the gesture on his Instagram page.

The actor, who acknowledged the current economic hardship facing many Nigerians, said his intention was simply to put smiles on people’s faces, even if in a small way.

“Times are hard for many people right now, and if I can put a smile on a few faces, then I’m grateful to do so. This isn’t much, but I hope it helps in some way. May God continue to bless us, strengthen us, and open doors for us all,” he wrote.

In his post, Ninalowo also tagged the recipients of the cash gifts and humorously complained that his hand was hurting from the transactions, promising to do more the following day. He also gave a shoutout to followers he described as showing him love.

The gesture came alongside the actor’s participation in the trending “2026 is the new 2016” social media challenge, during which he reflected on his personal journey. Ninalowo said he never had time to look back, with his sole focus being his evolution from who he once was to the man he is becoming.

The actor had also, in a separate post days earlier, spoken out against comparison and envy, making clear that his only competition is with his past self.

“I don’t compete with anyone. My only goal is to outdo who I was yesterday,” he stated.

Ninalowo’s cash giveaway has since drawn warm reactions from fans and followers across social media.
