Afrobeats singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as ‘Ayra Starr’, has earned a UK Silver certification for her 2021 hit song “Bloody Samaritan”.

The British Phonographic Industry awarded the certification for the track from her debut album, 19 & Dangerous, released under Mavin Records.

The achievement places Ayra Starr among a growing number of Nigerian artists with UK Silver-certified projects. They include Burna Boy, Asake, Wizkid, Davido, Tems, Omah Lay, Rema and CKay.

The recognition highlights the growing global appeal of Nigerian music and its strong commercial performance in international markets.
