Wumi Toriola Reflects On Growth And Resilience As She Celebrates Birthday

Nollywood actress and producer Wumi Toriola is marking her birthday with a heartfelt reflection on her journey, expressing gratitude for how far she has come.

Sharing stunning new photos to celebrate her special day, the actress said the occasion is about much more than adding another year to her age. According to her, she is celebrating her growth, survival, achievements and the quiet strength that has carried her through every chapter of life.

Toriola noted that she has evolved over the years, leaving behind people, places and versions of herself that were never meant to remain part of her journey.

Thanking everyone who has supported her, especially her loyal fans, the actress said she is praying for the courage to keep rising above challenges, the wisdom to make the right choices and the grace to remain kind, genuine and full of love.

She also reflected on her younger self, saying she is proud of how far she has come and is optimistic about the future.

Ahead of her birthday, Toriola had playfully addressed her colleagues, saying they were under no obligation to buy her gifts. She also jokingly warned them to avoid birthday tributes beginning with the phrase “A queen was born,” admitting that it has become one of her biggest pet peeves.
