The Nigeria Aquatics Federation (NAqF) has rescheduled its Swim to the Future programme from September 5 to September 12, 2026.

The Federation announced the adjustment in a statement on Monday, attributing the change to the MOC and LOC Technical Inspection ahead of the National Intermediate Games.

According to the NAqF, the inspection requires the attention and participation of key stakeholders, necessitating the shift in date.

The Federation appealed for the understanding of athletes, coaches, officials, partners and members of the swimming community following the change.

It assured participants that preparations remained on course for another exciting edition of the programme on September 12.
