Lady Gaga Welcomes First Child With Fiancé Michael Polansky

American pop superstar Lady Gaga has welcomed her first child with her fiancé, entrepreneur Michael Polansky, according to reports.

The 40-year-old Grammy-winning singer and Polansky, 42, have kept their relationship and plans for parenthood largely private, and Gaga had not publicly announced that she was pregnant.

PEOPLE confirmed the arrival through a source, while Page Six was first to report the news. The publication later released photographs showing Gaga carrying the newborn during a walk in Northern California with Polansky.

Details about the baby, including the name, sex and exact date of birth, have not been disclosed.

The arrival marks a major personal milestone for Gaga, who has spoken openly over the years about her desire to become a mother.

In October 2025, she described motherhood as the “next starring role” she hoped to take on, saying that while she wanted to pursue several things in life, becoming a mother was what she really wanted.

Gaga and Polansky have been together since around 2020, after first meeting at a birthday celebration for technology entrepreneur Sean Parker. Their relationship grew stronger during the COVID-19 pandemic after they spent lockdown together.

They became engaged in 2024, although Gaga kept details of their wedding plans private. In March 2026, she revealed that the pair expected to get married “soon” but did not disclose a date or venue.

The couple has maintained a relatively low-profile relationship despite Gaga’s global fame. Polansky, a technology entrepreneur and philanthropist, has also been involved in charitable work through the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy.
