As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence, Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) has said that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a promise, but a work already visible on “our streets, in our homes, and in our communities.”
Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Shitu, the FCT state coordinator of Arewa for Asiwaju (A44) at a rally in Abuja yesterday, said Nigeria’s 66 years of Independence signified freedom to build, the freedom to hope, and under this administration, “the freedom to see that hope translated into roads, homes, power, and opportunity.”
While reeling out President Tinubu’s achievements, he called on youths, especially A4A Youth Ambassadors, “to carry this message of progress back to your wards, your communities and your polling units peacefully, truthfully, and with the pride of citizens who have seen their government at work.”
Shitu said, “From power to housing, from roads to rail, the evidence is not in our words today, but in the concrete, the steel and the light bulbs of our Federal Capital Territory.”
Deputy Director, Youth Affairs, Comr. Murtala Mohammed Gamji, in his remarks, said “let us go from this rally not merely as celebrants, but as witnesses to a FCT that is being rebuilt, re-fit, re-housed and reconnected before our very eyes. Let us continue to support Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the FCT Minister, in this work of renewal”.
