Enyimba have received a fitness boost ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL clash against Plateau United, with defender Joel Ezra and goalkeeper Utum Godswill both available for selection.
Ezra, a utility defender who made 27 appearances for the Aba club last season, has recovered from an illness that had kept him out of action.
Godswill, meanwhile, has returned to training after missing three weeks with an injury.
The duo are in contention for Sunday’s(Today)fixture, which will be played at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
Coach Emmanuel Deutsch’s side will be hoping to build on their 4-2 home win over Shooting Stars in midweek, their first NPFL victory of the season.
Enyimba currently sit 19th in the league table with four points from six matches. The return of Ezra and Godswill is expected to strengthen the nine-time champions as they seek another positive result against Plateau United.
