A political pressure group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), has begun grassroots mobilisation in Rivers State to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

The group said it was also mobilising support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Hon. Kingsley Chinda, and other Rainbow Coalition candidates across Rivers State.

The state coordinator of RTIFN, Hon. Innocent Ajaelu, disclosed this in Port Harcourt on Saturday while addressing coordinators of the group from the 23 local government areas of the state.

The meeting deliberated on issues relating to the growth, coordination and activities of the group in the state.

Ajaelu directed the local government area coordinators to convene meetings in their respective areas as part of efforts to strengthen the group’s grassroots mobilisation.

He stressed the need for the coordinators to align with the commitment of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and leader of the Rainbow Coalition in Rivers State and Nigeria, Chief Nyesom Wike, to mobilise support for Tinubu.

Ajaelu said the group would also intensify efforts to counter misinformation and provide Nigerians with accurate information about the president’s policies and activities.

“We will continue to explore and implement strategic approaches to combat misinformation, ensuring that Nigerians have access to accurate information concerning the activities and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
