A public affairs analyst, Abdulmalik Suleiman, has praised Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda while pursuing the state’s development priorities through his Kano First Agenda.

Suleiman, who made the observation in Kano at the weekend, said the governor had demonstrated statesmanship by supporting the Federal Government’s development vision while ensuring that the interests of Kano residents remained central to his administration.

He explained that Governor Yusuf had continued to domesticate the Renewed Hope Agenda through people-oriented policies and programmes aimed at improving the living conditions of ordinary citizens.

“The governor keeps preaching the gospel of Renewed Hope and complementing it with the Kano First Agenda. He aligns with the centre for the good of Kano while protecting the interest of Kano people first. That is statesmanship,” he said.

The analyst noted that the governor’s approach to governance had continued to attract positive reactions from stakeholders and residents across different sectors of the state.

He identified interventions in education, healthcare delivery, urban renewal, and civil service welfare as areas where the administration was making a direct impact.

Suleiman further described Governor Yusuf’s leadership as humble and responsive, adding that his ability to balance national development priorities with the needs of Kano residents had strengthened public confidence in his administration.

He said effective governance required not only policy implementation and infrastructure development but also respect for the people and responsible use of public authority.
