Sarah Ferguson has returned to the UK and is spending time with her daughters and grandchildren as she considers her next steps amid renewed scrutiny over her links to Jeffrey Epstein.
The former Duchess of York, 67, has been keeping a low profile since returning in late summer, her spokesperson told PEOPLE. She is reportedly focused on settling into a new home and reconnecting with family.
“She’s resettling here, lying low while she looks at the next stage,” the spokesperson said, adding that Ferguson is enjoying time with her family.
Ferguson is believed to be renting a property in the Home Counties, the areas surrounding London. Earlier this year, she was reportedly staying in the Austrian Alps, where her location emerged in April after months of speculation.
Her family visits have included time with her newest grandchild, Adelaide, the daughter of Princess Eugenie, who was born in August.
It remains unclear whether Ferguson has seen her former husband, Andrew, since returning to Britain. However, the pair are said to remain in contact and maintain a cordial relationship as co-parents and grandparents.
Andrew is currently living privately on King Charles’ Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Their ongoing relationship follows the King’s decision last year to remove Andrew’s royal titles and honours and require the former couple to leave Royal Lodge, their Windsor residence where they had lived under the same roof for around two decades.
