The National Vice President of the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Florence Agogo, has tasked young Nigerians to collectively decide the future of Nigeria by voting in competent and visionary leaders.

Agogo made the call during a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) Sensitization Outreach she organised for young people across Nigeria through her office.

The student leader said the project is borne out of the need to promote popular participation in the electoral process and task of nation building.

She noted that the Permanent Voters Card is the major weapon with which the people can fight the crumbling system by voting and ushering in good governance in the country.

She called on young people to build on their strengths, population, and wit to decide the future of the country while also stressing that this can only become a reality when they get their permanent voter cards and vote during elections.

She reminded them that their vote is their power and right to have a say in governance.
