Ahead of the March 11 governorship election in Delta State, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, has called on voters to join him to oust the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

He made the appeal in Asaba, Oshimili South local government area where he promised to restore the glory of state with all that is available in the state particularly with the support from Peter Obi’s teeming supporters.

The former minister of state for education who asked Deltans to elect him in 2023 and watch out for industrial revolution that will occur in one year, pleading with residents to vote SDP to end PDP’s age-long ineptitude in the state.

“Give me one year. This state is the richest state in Africa, richer than over 34 countries in the world. If you truly want your industries to be revamped which I can do, I am the man to vote for. If you truly want your schools to be revived and your teachers paid salaries promptly, I am the man to vote for.

“If you want your hospitals to have medical equipment, materials and medicines to dispense, I am the man to vote for. If you want me to remove all these pensioners who are dying without their pensions and gratuity been paid to them every day, I am the man to vote for.

“If you want transparency, to see how your government is ran, how transparent it is, I am the man to vote for,” Gbagi, who also received commendations from the youths asserted.

“There is emergency in Delta State. Clap for the Obidients. For the first time, the church chested out against bad governance. Took PDP and APC money and voted against them. It is your stolen money you have taken.

“I will alternate Onitsha Market in Asaba and revive the Asaba Textile Mill to generate employment. I will declare free education to university levels. I will convert the lands in Isoko to rice mills with my entrepreneurial spirit. Our hospitals will function optimally.”
