The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the director of finance, Bilkisu Adamu Sani and three other top officials of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), over alleged N2 billion duty tour allowance fraud in the agency.

Apart from Sani, the three other suspects are deputy general manager, treasury Hart Benson Fimienye; the agency’s deputy general manager (management accounts) Obene  Jenbarimiema Turniel and general manager (accounts and stores) Nathaniel Terna Kaainjo.

The NCAA officials allegedly paid themselves, and others, duty tour allowance in excess of N2 billion.

A sources in EFCC said Nathaniel was taken into EFCC’s custody on Thursday, March 16, 2023 while the others were arrested, yesterday, March 20, 2023, and are currently being grilled by a team of operatives at the anti-graft agency’s headquarters, Abuja.
