Fallout from the governorship election result  that saw the emergence of All Progressive Congress (APC), candidate Dr. Dikko Radda as the winner of the election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has rejected the results and vowed to challenge the process at the court.

Briefing journalists on Monday in Katsina, the director general campaign council, Dr Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa made the position of the party known, saying it would remain resolute and determined to challenge the electoral processes that produced all candidates in the contest.

He however, condemned the election which according to him was characterised by rigging, intimidation, vote inducement among other irregularities carried out in connivance with INEC, security and the ruling party APC in various LGA of the state.

Stressing that the ruling party had succeeded in taking Nigerian democracy backwards by displaying severe abnormalities for their desperation to remain in power, Inuwa added that president Muhammadu Buhari has missed the opportunity to write his name in gold having promised to conduct a free and credible election.
