An All Progressives Congress stalwart in Abia State, Sir Marc Wabara, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of Easter,  praying for peace and unity of the country.

Wabara in his Easter message made available to LEADERSHIP Sunday noted that the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary and his resurrection justified and increased the faith of mankind.

Stressing that with God all things are possible, the stalwart appealed to Christians to pray fervently for peaceful transition from the present to the incoming administration in the country.

The member of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council also called on the citizens to continue to follow the path of peace to guarantee the unity and development of the country.

He enjoined Christians in particular and all citizens in general to use the period for sober reflections on the urgent need to make sacrifices to build a greater and more prosperous country.

“As Christ conquered death and overcame the devil, so will Nigeria surmount its challenges and progress into a country of reference among  the comity of nations,” he said.
