One month after his second anniversary in office, the Abia North Traditional Rulers Council has endorsed the state governor, Dr Alex Otti, for a second term in office.

The monarchs stated this in a communique they issued at the end of their meeting in Isuikwuato local government at the weekend, saying Otti had redefined governance and touched lives positively in the state.

The coomunique was signed by the chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Nto Mbah, the third deputy and chairman of the zone’s own council, Eze Uwakwe Ukaegbu and others.

The communique said, “After extensive deliberations, Abia North Traditional Rulers Council, comprising; Arochukwu, Ohafia, Bende, Isuikwuato and Umunneochi local governments, at its meeting resolved as follows: “To work assiduously to support the government of Dr. Alex Otti, particularly in the area of security by aligning with all the security agencies to ensure the nooks and crannies of the state are safe and secured.

The communique maintained that visible projects had been done by the governor, including reconstruction of roads, retrofitting of primary healthcare centres and renovation of schools among others.
