Alfadarai gave the assurance when the new federal roads maintenance engineer of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency in the state, Obiora Okafor, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Umuahia, the state capital.

“We’re committed to partnering other security agencies in the state to ensure the protection of lives and property in the state as part of our mandate, “ he said.

Alfadarai, who commended the engineer for the visit, added that the command under his watch had recorded many successes with the cooperation of his subordinates and residents.

Speaking earlier, Okafor said he came to express his appreciation to the command for the protection of federal roads in the state during the #EndBadGove VrnmentInNigeria# protest.

“I owe you much as a person for your timely mobilisation of your men to the roads ahead of the commencement of the protest to forestall attempts to vandalise them,” he said.

He solicited the continued support and cooperation of the command, asserting that as federal agencies, the agency and the corps have many areas of common interest.
