Fun lovers in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, are set to witness a new form of entertainment where at least 20 entertainment icons will perform on one stage.
They comprise 10 hype MCs and 10 deejays and the event is “Above The Hype” being promoted by Abuja veteran comedian, Headmaxter, whose real name is Stephen Madukwe.
Very popular in the Abuja entertainment landscape, Headmaxter is easily remembered for several successful comedy shows he has hosted, including his Depression Pills.
A hype MC himself, the “Above The Hype” is expected to be a super fun-packed show that will remain memorable in the minds of Abuja entertainment lovers.
Tagged “The Premium Party”, the show is being presented by Syphen Media & Enter10ment.
The performers at the show have been carefully selected to suit the taste and expectations of the guests, who represent diverse professions, ethnicities and religious backgrounds.
Coming up on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Soul Lounge, Jahi, Abuja, it will be hosted by Washington DC, a veteran entertainer.
