Renewed Hope Advocate has paid glowing tribute to the former Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, following his resignation from office on health grounds, describing his tenure as impactful, disciplined and deeply patriotic.

In a statement issued by the Coordinator of the group, Comrade Prince Miaphen, the organisation celebrated Badaru’s service to the nation, noting that his decision to step down, though unexpected, reflects integrity, courage and an unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s wellbeing.

Miaphen said Alhaji Badaru distinguished himself as a firm, focused and dependable member of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet, contributing significantly to the administration’s security architecture and policy direction.

He noted that the former minister stood out as “a formidable pillar of stability, a voice of reason, and a true champion of national security.”

According to him, Badaru’s influence extended beyond government circles to millions of students and young Nigerians who benefited, directly or indirectly, from the policies he supported. He described the former minister as a leader whose style embodied discipline, patriotism and genuine concern for the nation’s future.
