Remo Stars goalkeeper Serge Obassa has been included in Benin Republic’s 30-man preliminary squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Obassa is one of three goalkeepers named in the squad by head coach Gernot Rohr, alongside Saturnin Allagbe and Dandjinou Marcel.
Other regulars included in the squad are captain Steve Mounie, Mohamed Tijani, Verdon Oliver, Tosin Aiyegun, Junior Olaitan, and Djodel Dosou.
Rohr is expected to reduce the squad to 25 players next week.
The Cheetahs will set up camp in Ben Slimane, Morocco, on Wednesday, 10 December.
Benin is drawn in Group D alongside Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Botswana.
The West Africans will kick off their campaign against the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday, 23 December.
