Nigeria’s D’Tigers delivered a resounding victory over defending champions Tunisia, in their second Group B clash at the FIBA AfroBasket 2025.

The Nigerians dominated the match, winning 87-66 and maintaining their strong campaign in the tournament.

The game began with Nigeria taking an early lead, 29-16, in the first quarter. Despite Tunisia’s efforts to close the gap, the D’Tigers maintained control, leading 48-33 at halftime.

The Nigerians continued to assert their dominance in the third quarter, outscoring Tunisia 20-14 and extending their lead to 68-47.

Josh Okogie was the standout performer for Nigeria, scoring a game-high 33 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out two assists. Caleb Agada also made significant contributions, finishing with nine points.
