Akpabio was also bestowed with a Fellowship Award of the college in recognition of his contributions to the growth of the country at the ceremony.

Represented by the Senator representing Plateau North, Mwadkon Dachungyang, the Senate President said the 10th Senate is focused and purpose-driven to keep the dreams, hopes and aspirations the Nigerian people alive.

He also acknowledged the diligent teamwork of stakeholders of the institution, especially by its Director-General, Dr. Friday Akpan and his management team.
