Amb Hussaini Coomassie Appointed Country Chief Representative For IPGC, USA

The Head of Mission, International Peace Commission (IPC-Nigeria) who doubles as the Global Vice Chairman, Advocacy for Good Governance and Social Justice Network, Amb Hussaini Coomassie

has added another feather to his cap with his recent appointment as the Country Chief Representative, International Peace and Governance Council, USA (IPGC).

 

The appointment, which was met with widespread acclaim, will run concurrently with his responsibilities at IPC.

 

Amb Coomassie expressed his gratitude to the IPGC for considering him worthy of this significant role and pledged to continue his unwavering commitment to his duties.

 

He extended a heartfelt appeal to IPGC, asking for the support and encouragement necessary to fulfill the upcoming responsibilities. In his own words,

 

“This is a wonderful appointment from a reputable organisation like IPGC. I’m elated and happy that my efforts and struggles for international peace are being recognized from various facets of life. I believe this would go a long way, as it means more effort for lasting peace in Nigeria and beyond.”

 

A formal letter from the President and Chairman of the Global IPCG Supreme Council conveys the approval of Amb Coomassie as the Country Representative for the organization. The letter authorizes Amb Coomassie to exercise the powers and privileges of IPGC for a mission term of 4 years.
