Ambassador Mrs Mariame KONE, President, Association of Ivorians in ECOWAS and in International Organizations In Nigeria (AMICOIN) , Mariame Koné Touré has received the YALE achievers award in Nigeria.
The award is to recognize her invaluable contributions to the development of Tongilmoodo and women self defense projects including youth development in Nigeria,
Mr Jacob Odey, President YALE Achievers recognized her hardwork and dedication to Africa while presenting the award to her recently.
The Nigerian based ambassador who is also known as the Patron and global protector of the world Tongilmoodo Federations is a graduate of the University of Quebec in Montreal in Business Administration with an Organizational Management option, she then obtained a master’s degree in operations management.
Ambassador Mariame has received numerous other awards like the “International Mentor Award 2021”, on September 25, 2021, for her support to people in professions in all social spheres.
Ambassador Mariame KONÉ Touré who is from Ivory Coast was elevated to the rank of Knight in the national order at the Ivory Coast embassy in Nigeria Sunday August 7, 2022.
In addition, Ambassador Mariame KONÉ Touré has been a diplomat at the ECOWAS Court of Justice for more than 20 years in Human Resources management.
She received a distinction for leading the Women’s Forum of the ECOWAS Court of Justice for several years (coordinator and Vice-President)
From school to professional years, she has been a member of several associations (Aiesec, Volunteer for Unicef, Children’s Aid, French course for immigrants in Canada, Fundraising for various organizations to mention a few.
