‎US actor Nicholas Brendon,  known for his role in the cult TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is dead.

‎He was said to have died on March 20 at the age of 54.
‎
‎The sad news was confirmed by the family of Nicholas Brendon, who released a statement on social media, “Nicholas Brendon died in his sleep. He died of natural causes”.
‎
‎”He is so passionate and sensitive about acting. Nicholas loves to create endlessly. Those who truly know him understand that his art is one of the purest reflections of who he is,” the family added.
‎
‎Born on April 12, 1971, Nicholas is an actor, artist, and writer. He was best known for playing Xander Harris in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003) and Kevin Lynch in Criminal Minds (2007–2014).
