APBN Honours Chris Omoru As Distinguished Professional

The Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), Delta State chapter, at the weekend, honoured Christian Oghenekohwo Omoru, an Estate Surveyor and Valuer with the “Distinguished Professional”   award during its 9th Public Lecture and Awards Ceremony in Asaba.

The event gathered top professionals in both the public and private sectors.

Secretary to the Delta State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu highlighted the economic growth in the state, citing investments in infrastructure, SMEs, and industrial parks as key drivers.

A notable highlight of the event was the recognition of Omoru for his exceptional contributions to estate surveying, environmental valuation, and professional development.

For his part, Omoru said “This recognition is not just about me but about the impact professionals can make in society.”

Other notable awardees included Dr. Kingsley Eze Omu, Lady Catherine Onyeme, Dr. Onojaeme Joseph Ogheneogaga, and Engr. Prof. Sony Emeka Ali.
