An All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, the APC Grassroots Governance Group (APCG3), has congratulated Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new national chairman of the party, pledging unwavering support for his leadership.
Yilwatda was elected on Thursday by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling party following his nomination and endorsement by key party stakeholders. His election fills the vacuum created by the resignation of former chairman Abdullahi Ganduje.
In a congratulatory letter signed by its national coordinator, Amechi Chucks Oyema, the APCG3 described Yilwatda’s emergence as “well deserved,” adding that it comes at a defining moment for the party.
“Your well-deserved appointment comes at a time when our party is being re-engineered for more successes,” the statement said, “It also comes at a time when our able President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is taking bold decisions aimed at making Nigeria better for the citizens.”
The group expressed confidence in Yilwatda’s capacity to lead the party to “greater heights,” citing his “wealth of experience, academic excellence, and proven leadership skills” as qualities that will strengthen the APC’s internal cohesion and electoral performance.
