The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday night re-elected Prof. Nentawe as the National Chairman of the party, alongside other members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

The party leaders emerged through a consensus arrangement at the APC National Convention held in Abuja.
However, Hon. Ben Nwoye from Enugu State was elected as Deputy National Chairman (South East), succeeding Emma Eneukwu.

Some of the newly elected officers include: Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Abubakar Dalori (Borno); National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru (Osun); Deputy National Secretary, Prof. Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana (Nasarawa); National Vice Chairman (North Central), Mu’azu Bawa Rijau (Niger); Deputy National Vice Chairman (North East), Dr. Mustapha Salihu (Adamawa); and National Vice Chairman (North West), Hon. Mohammed Datti (Kaduna).

The NWC members, along with other national officers, have since been sworn in.
