Army HQ Conducts Seminar For Troops Of ‘Operation Hadin Kai’

Army Headquarters’ Department of Army Transformation and Innovation has held a seminar for officers and soldiers of “Operation Hadin Kai” at the Officers’ Mess, Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri.

Speaking , Chief of Transformation and Innovation, Major General O.S. Abai,  stated that the seminar, themed “Lesson Learned Process/Feedback Mechanism”, aimed to enhance operational effectiveness of troops through the application of Nigerian Army processes.

“The purpose of the seminar is to enlighten troops of 7 Division to enhance operational effectiveness,” he said.

The theme aligns with the Chief of Army Staff’s (COAS) command philosophy of consolidating the Nigerian Army’s transformation into a motivated and combat-ready force.

The Chief of Army Staff ( COAS ) , Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, represented by the Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai North East Joint Task Force, Major General Waidi Shuaibu, declared the seminar open, and said ,” I am particularly glad to see that the target audience for the seminar are junior and middle cadre of the Nigeria Army.

He also added that the seminar is intended to mitigate challenges faced by troops in a complex security environment.

 

General Oluyede pledged to continuously review tactics and procedures to develop effective strategies.

 

“The place of lessons learned is key to operational effectiveness,” he emphasised.

 

The seminar aimed to improve the capacity of Nigerian Army personnel to draw lessons from operational engagements.

 

The event concluded with the presentation of gifts and awards to the COAS and the theatre commander, followed by a group photograph with participants.
