The Institution said, “The University Management has noted with concern, the publicity accorded proposed new academic programmes of the University, especially in the social media”.

A press statement signed by the University’s Director of Information, Malam Zailani Bappa urged the public to await official publication from the University authority on academic programmes that are likely to commence in the next academic session.

Bappa described as wrong publicity for unauthorised information on academic programmes, especially for the new Faculty of Computing and Bachelor degree in Entrepreneurship. He said such information did not officially emanate from the university.
