Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has said he has to manage the fitness of Taiwo Awoniyi, saying that he is still struggling with his fitness.
Awoniyi was on target for Forest against West Ham after finding the back of the net in the fifth minute of first-half injury time.
Awoniyi has had injury issues this season and has made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in the English topflight this campaign.

Speaking on the Nigerian striker’s goal against the Hammers and his fitness issues, Nuno told BBC Sport: “Strikers are about scoring but for us it’s more than that. They have to work, they have to read the game and when the moment comes put it inside the net. We know he’s struggling in terms of fitness, it’s up to us to manage him.”
Awoniyi was among the players who could not feature for the Super Eagles at the AFCON due to injury.
