The death has occurred of Hajia Fatma Dada, the mother of Ambassador Zubair Dada, the immediate past Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Hajia Fatima died yesterday  after a protracted illness at the age of  92. She is survived by six children including the former minister.

Niger State Governor  Mohammed Umaru Bago  has condoled with the  former minister over the death.

In a message by his chief press secretary Bologi Ibrahim the governor acknowledged the significant impact of the deceased on society and humanity.

He noted that the late Hajiya Fatima Dada lived a virtuous life and was a source of inspiration to those who had contact with her.

The  governor encouraged the former minister to see the death of his mother as an act of Allah and a celebration of life, having lived up to 92 years. He prayed God to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her eternal rest while comforting those left behind.
