Baobab Nigeria, a leading financial institution committed to promoting financial inclusion, recently embarked on a fitness walk activity across its 38 branches in Nigeria.
This initiative was designed to promote healthy lifestyles among Baobab’s staff and customers while raising awareness for both Jollof+ and Baobab Nigeria’s services.
This nationwide event, themed “Fit Body, Fit Pocket – Na Who Dey Healthy, Dey Save”, brought together Baobab employees across cities in Nigeria to promote the Jollof+ savings product while emphasising the need for physical wellness and financial stability.
The event, which happened simultaneously across 16 states in Nigeria, had a notable turnout. Employees connected and engaged with the public to spread awareness about Jollof+ services and offerings. The fitness walk was widely appreciated, with employees describing it as inspiring and informative.
Our fitness walk is part of our mission to promote a stable financial life and health for our employees and communities, said Eric Ntumba, AG CEO of Baobab Nigeria. “At Baobab Nigeria, we believe that caring for physical and financial health leads to a more balanced life. We are excited to do this because it sets us on the right path to achieving our goals as individuals and organisations.”
The fitness walk featured music, exercises, food, and dance, resonating with the Jollof+ goals to promote a sustainable financial life and tap into the daily lifestyle of the everyday Nigerian. It was a way to further promote the aim and objective of Jollof+ and Baobab Nigeria to the larger community.
Speaking further on the essence of the fitness walk, Oladapo Ikupolati, Chief Business officer, Baobab Nigeria said, “We believe that a healthy body is the foundation for financial discipline and stability. With Jollof+, we provide a tool that enhances financial stability and helps individuals build a secure future. Our fitness walk event brings that goal to life, showing our dedication to every part of our customer’s journey to success.”
Baobab Nigeria continues demonstrating its commitment to enhancing physical and financial health through this fitness walk, helping Nigerians embrace financial planning as a positive, engaging lifestyle. This also allowed employees to take a break from routine work while reinforcing team spirit.
Baobab Nigeria plans to continue similar initiatives with members of the local communities they reside in, further advancing the brand’s goal of improving people’s day-to-day lifestyles.
