Wife of the Bauchi State governor, Dr Aishatu Bala Mohammed, has paid a condolence visit to the family of Alhaji Sule, the late permanent secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs.
At the deceased’s residence in Bauchi yesterday, Mrs Mohammed described him as a dedicated, humble and committed public servant whose contributions significantly advanced the ministry and the state’s development.
She prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and asked Almighty Allah to grant his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The first lady also visited the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, where she empathised with journalists who sustained injuries in a recent road crash while on official assignment.
In a statement issued by her chief press secretary, Zainab Garba Musa, the first lady expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident and wished the journalists a speedy and complete recovery.
She commended media practitioners in the state for their dedication, courage, and sacrifices in keeping the public informed.
Dr Aishatu reassured the injured journalist and the hospital management of her continued prayers and support, urging them to remain hopeful and strong during the recovery process.
